Holiday Party Perfection
On one hand, the holidays can be exciting — yet, on the other hand, they can be panic-inducing. It seems like there's never anything appropriate in your closet to wear to the many different events you'll be attending. Yeah, your ubiquitous black shift dress is always a safe bet, but wouldn't it be nice to wear something different for a change? We think so. Here are six suggestions for what to wear to a holiday party this stylish season.
Holiday cocktail parties call for something slightly seductive. Dresses should be above knee and fabric should be satin, silk, or sparkly. If you are going to a business cocktail party it is best to stay away from looks that are too revealing while a black tie event at a nightclub you can often get away with if done correctly (see Heidi Klum). If your gong ultra-formal think wedding or charity event - a long gown is appropriate. Here's some of my fave black tie gala looks.
