2007 was definitely a great year for Rihanna. She's created her own image, and in the process become a fashion inspiration to the masses. Rihanna caps off her successful year by covering the January 2008 issue of Allure Magazine. In the mag, Rihanna dishes on a range of topics including her rumored fling with actor Josh Hartnett.
“This is what really happened. He and my management, they have each other’s contact information. I went to [the club] Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day I’m seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other. You can’t even go out with a friend who’s a celebrity and have a good time without people making shit up…well, at least he’s good-looking, right?”She even talks about her label's reaction to her trendsetting decision to cut her hair into her now infamous bob.
“The label didn’t want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don’t care who likes it — this is me. My friends still live in Barbados, and they let me know that everyone asks for the ‘Rihanna haircut.”I can't wait to see where Rihanna's style is gonna go in 2008.
